Egyptian Foreign Minister on Working Visit To Tunisia

Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Egyptians Abroad, Badr Abdel Aaty, is on working visit to  Tunisia on April 18–19, 2025, at the invitation of his Tunisian counterpart,  Mohamed Ali Nafti. The visit aimed to reinforce the strong ties between Tunisia and Egypt and began with the delivery of a letter from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to President Kais Saied.

The ministers held bilateral and expanded talks with both delegations, reaffirming their commitment to deepening cooperation across various sectors. They welcomed the growing momentum in joint committees—especially in trade and industry—and stressed the need to implement agreements that boost trade and investment.

They also highlighted the importance of enhancing cultural, artistic, and tourism exchanges to strengthen people-to-people ties. Addressing regional and global challenges, both sides called for increased coordination and renewed Arab efforts to end the aggression against the Palestinian people, ensure humanitarian aid access, and support the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
