German PRETTL Group to Launch Cable Manufacturing Plant in Tunisia

Tunis, April 2, 2025 – Minister of Economy and Planning Samir Abdelhafidh met with Rolf Prettl, CEO of the German industrial group PRETTL, during the latter’s visit to Tunisia with several senior officials.

The two discussed PRETTL’s global operations and its plans to expand into Tunisia through a new automotive cable manufacturing unit, expected to create around 500 jobs in the coming months.

CEO Rolf Prettl expressed satisfaction with the progress made in launching the project and praised Tunisia’s favorable investment climate, strategic location, and skilled workforce—factors that influenced the group’s decision to invest.
