Global Displacement to Soar, Sudan Among Most Affected

The Danish Refugee Council warns that wars will displace 6.7 million people in two years, with Sudan and Myanmar making up a third.

The withdrawal of US, UK, and German aid has left millions vulnerable. Displacement stands at 122.6 million, with 4.2 million more expected in 2025—the highest rise since 2021. Another 2.5 million are projected in 2026.
