Jordan’s King: I Told Trump That the Kingdom Rejects the Displacement of Palestinians from Gaza

Jordan’s King Abdullah II revealed details of his discussions with U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the situation in Gaza and his stance on Trump’s plan to relocate Palestinians from the region.

In a statement posted on his X account on Tuesday, King Abdullah described his talks with President Trump at the White House as “constructive.” He stated, “We discussed the strong partnership between Jordan and the United States and its importance in achieving stability, peace, and mutual security.”

The Jordanian monarch emphasized, “For me, Jordan’s interests, stability, and the protection of the Jordanian people are above all considerations.”

King Abdullah further reaffirmed Jordan’s firm stance against the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank, stressing, “This is the unified Arab position. Everyone’s priority should be the reconstruction of Gaza without displacing its people and addressing the dire humanitarian situation in the region.”
