Forbes: Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud Named Richest Arab in 2025

Prince Alwaleed bin Talal has been named the richest Arab in 2025 by Forbes, with a net worth of $16.5 billion, making him both the wealthiest man in the Arab world and the richest Saudi billionaire.

After a seven-year absence, Saudi Arabia returned powerfully to the Forbes Arab billionaires list, contributing 15 billionaires—14 of them new—thanks to strong investments in the local stock market and a surge in IPO activity post-COVID.

According to Forbes, the number of Arab billionaires has grown to 38 across nine MENA countries, with a combined net worth of $128.4 billion. This marks a sharp increase from 2024, which saw only 20 Arab billionaires with a total wealth of $53.7 billion.
