As part of his partyicipation in the 4th Antalya Diplomatic Forum themed “Reclaiming Diplomacy in a Fragmented World,” the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, held a series of high-level meetings on April 11 with counterparts from friendly countries and international bodies.
He met with Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf to follow up on their April 9 meeting in Tunis, and with Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty ahead of his planned visit to Tunisia. In talks with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, both sides welcomed progress on the outcomes of the Joint Committee held on November 20, 2024.
Nafti also discussed regional peace efforts and trade with Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, and met with UN Libya envoy Hanaa Serwa Tetteh to review ways to enhance UN support for stability in Libya.
Additional meetings included UN High Representative Miguel Ángel Moratinos on strengthening the Alliance of Civilisations, and NATO’s Javier Colomina to discuss Tunisia-NATO cooperation and Mediterranean security.
