Globally, Finland retained its top position for the eighth consecutive year, while Afghanistan ranked last.
In the Arab world, the UAE (21st), Kuwait (30th), and Saudi Arabia (32nd) led the rankings. Within North Africa, Libya (79th) topped the region, followed by Algeria (84th), Morocco (112th), Tunisia (113th), and Mauritania (114th).
The index evaluates happiness based on key factors measuring well-being and quality of life worldwide.
