Tunisia and EU Discuss Strengthening Partnership

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, received a phone call from EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, to discuss bilateral cooperation and regional stability in the Mediterranean.

Minister Nafti underscored Tunisia’s strong ties with Europe and the need for a balanced, cooperative partnership. He welcomed the new EU Commissioner for the Mediterranean, hoping for greater regional engagement.

Kallas reaffirmed Tunisia’s importance as a key EU partner and pledged continued support across economic, trade, and social sectors.

Both sides agreed to prepare for key milestones, including the 30th anniversary of the EU-Tunisia Partnership Agreement and the upcoming Partnership Council.
