Tunisia and Switzerland Discuss Cooperation on Migration and Development

During a visit to Bern on January 23, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, met with Switzerland’s newly appointed State Secretary for Migration, Vincenzo Mascioli.

Minister Nafti congratulated Mascioli and reaffirmed Tunisia’s commitment to enhancing collaboration with Switzerland in managing regular migration, combating irregular migration, and promoting inclusive development.

Mascioli praised the strong bilateral ties and the outcomes of the Tunisian-Swiss Partnership Follow-up Committee on Migration held in November, highlighting the importance of future joint initiatives to support economic and social development in both countries.
