World Bank Projects 2.2% Economic Growth for Tunisia in 2025

The World Bank expects Tunisia’s economy to grow by 2.2% in 2025, up from 1.2% in 2024, supported by improved external financing. Growth is projected to reach 2.3% in 2026, according to its report on the MENA region.

The report highlights that drought and weak domestic demand slowed Tunisia’s recovery in 2024. Inflation is expected to decline from 7.2% in 2024 to 6.9% in 2025 and 6.6% in 2026.

Regionally, MENA growth is forecast at 3.4% in 2025, while global growth is expected to remain at 2.7% for 2025 and 2026.
