Earth will witness one of the most significant astronomical phenomena of the year: a planetary alignment. According to the City of Science in Tunis, this alignment will reach its peak on January 21, 2025, when several planets will align in the sky on a single night.
Although all planets in the solar system move along the same path called the ecliptic, they do not usually align at the same time. On the night of January 21, the visible planets will include Saturn, Venus, Jupiter, and Mars, with the possibility of spotting Mercury at dawn.
