A total of 3,430 Tunisians were recruited to work abroad from the beginning of this year until November 30, compared to 4,179 recruits during the same period in 2023, according to the Tunisian Agency for Technical Cooperation (ATCT).
Despite this decline, the ATCT emphasized in a statistical report obtained by the Tunis Africa Press Agency (TAP) that the recruitment of Tunisian professionals abroad continues to follow an upward trend, particularly in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Germany and Canada topped the list of countries attracting Tunisian talent. Germany recruited 671 Tunisians, followed by Canada with 613. Oman ranked third with 411 recruits, France fourth with 360, and Saudi Arabia fifth with 357 recruits.
