Tunisia, Egypt: Agreement to Execute Major Housing and Equipment Projects

On Wednesday, a meeting between Tunisia’s Minister of Equipment and Housing, Sarah Zafarani Zanzari, and Egypt’s Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Sherif Magdy El-Sherbini, resulted in an agreement to establish joint partnerships for executing major projects in Tunisia, Egypt, and other countries, with a particular focus on tapping into the promising African market.

The meeting, held on the sidelines of the 41st session of the Arab Ministers of Housing and Urban Development Council in Algiers, addressed several key issues related to the ministries’ activities, according to a statement from Tunisia’s Ministry of Equipment and Housing.

The Tunisian delegation presented a visual report on the progress of two major projects: « Dorra Al-Buhayra 1, » completed, and « Dorra Al-Buhayra 2, » currently under construction, both supervised by the Al-Buhayra Investment Company.

Both parties also agreed to activate the agreement signed between the two ministries, which includes the exchange of technical visits to share experiences and learn from successful projects in both countries. The goal is to foster collaboration between Tunisian and Egyptian companies.
