On December 10th, 2024, Tunisia joined the world in marking the 76th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Despite significant progress, full implementation of its principles remains a challenge, with global issues like inequality, climate change, and conflict still threatening human rights.
Tunisia reaffirms its commitment to human rights, both nationally and internationally, emphasizing its long-standing role in upholding these values. The country pledges to continue promoting social justice and combat discrimination, while strengthening economic, social, and cultural rights for all Tunisians.
Tunisia also expresses unwavering support for the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and calls for an end to the violence in Gaza, urging accountability for human rights violations.
