The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, will attend the Ministerial Conference on Humanitarian Assistance to the Gaza Strip to be held on December 2, 2024, in Cairo.
The conference aims to address the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza, focusing on implementing urgent logistical measures to ensure the immediate, extensive, safe, and unhindered delivery of aid and intensifying efforts to halt the ongoing aggression against the region, stated the Tunisian Foreign Ministry.
This meeting is organized under the initiative of Egypt, in collaboration with the United Nations Humanitarian and Reconstruction Coordinator in Gaza, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in the occupied Palestinian territories.
On the sidelines of the conference, the Tunisian Foreign Minister will hold bilateral discussions with counterparts from several brotherly and friendly nations. These meetings will focus on the conference themes and explore opportunities to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
